The Magic of the Spring
The desert is a magical kingdom. It often seems bleak and sleepy under the hot sun, but it seizes every opportunity to wake up and shine. When you see the desert in the spring or after the rain, you can feel that it fully takes a glory in these perfect moments.
I love seeing the desert full of life, with blooming cacti and wildflowers. To be fully expressive, I used bright, contrasting colors, and bold, angular shapes to create a mosaic-like vibrancy and energy. Just as you might feel the urge to sing and dance outside, the desert is celebrating and reveling in the beauty, too, and you can witness it if you see it through a colorful, playful lens.
